Wealthy entrepreneur David West thinks he knows something about finding love. So much so, that he and his company have created their own dating app called Prfect, an app that lets the user build the "perfect" face of their potential date. So when David himself uses his own app for the first time and ends up in the love triangle from hell, he is left scrambling to figure out what went wrong.

Meanwhile, whip-smart and sassy Dr. Addy Porter has also downloaded David's app and found it less than impressive. So when David ends up by chance in her emergency room with a busted face, Addy realizes it's the ideal chance to roast him for his app's failures... except that sparks begin flying between them almost instantly. For David, what is it about this enigmatic woman that draws him so irresistibly towards her, despite his own deep-seated aversion to dating doctors? And for Addy, what is it that keeps this damaged, flailing man constantly on her mind?
